Dosing Pump Applications

Duties for metering pumps and dosing pumps: sodium hypochlorite, wastewater, RO antiscalant, cooling towers, boilers and polymer.

Sodium Hypochlorite Dosing Pump

Sodium hypochlorite is a disinfectant feed for drinking water, pools and wastewater. The usual low-flow choice is a solenoid diaphragm pump. The cards below are the solenoid lines to quote. Concentration and wet-end material are confirmed on the quote.

Dosing Pump for Wastewater

Buyers also search this duty as a sewage treatment plant or an STP. This page is chemical feed at the buyer's wastewater site: coagulant, polymer, acid or alkali, and disinfectant. It is not a household or septic pump.

RO Antiscalant Dosing Pump

Antiscalant and acid are fed ahead of seawater and brackish RO. The standard dosing unit lists scale inhibition among its applications. That is the package to open first. The desalination page lists the pumps quoted on seawater RO jobs.

Cooling Tower Dosing Pump

Cooling towers take scale inhibitor, biocide and acid. The automatic chemical feeding system lists cooling tower on its card. Power-plant cooling water is on the power page. Send the chemical and the tower makeup on the quote.

Boiler Dosing Pump

Boiler water treatment feeds oxygen scavenger, amine, phosphate or a pH chemical at low flow. DFD lists boiler treatment. The EDI package lists boiler make-up chemicals. Send the chemical, the boiler pressure and the injection point on the quote.

Polymer Dosing System

Polymer dosing systems prepare and feed dry or liquid polymer for sludge dewatering and flocculation. Three stations in the catalog cover that duty. Read each card for its stated range. That range is not a dose for your sludge.
